Captured this picture of Jordyn today while at the Deli counter at Kroger.. I think this pretty much sums up how we have all felt today… it’s been a HARD day.. counting our blessings and beyond thankful for the outpouring of love and continuous prayers and support but the reality of how devastating and sad this Is, is hitting us and sinking in.. it’s just hard to breathe in..
please continue to pray for us in this transition and journey. The adjusters will not be out until Friday. They are waiting until everything is dried up in the house. Sigh.. trying to be patient in the waiting 🙏🙏
There have been so many amazing God moments already and I know there is more to come. We are in a fabulous home as a precious, dear friend graciously opened up her vacant house to us, allowing us to stay as long as needed and it’s only two blocks away from our house.. BIG BiG praises.
Friends have brought food, clothes, paper goods, water, towels and have just been here to talk.. We are praising Him in the storm and our hearts are to lean in and draw closer to Him in and through this. That the masses would come to know Him through this and we are standing firm on Him and His promises. We know we will get through this “for we can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives us strength.” Thank you all for coming alongside of us and for loving us and praying us through this.
It’s through the body of Christ, when we come alongside our fellow brethren, weep with them, rejoice with them, stand in the gap, serving them and lifting them up in prayer that we feel and embrace HIM. Y’all have done that in abundance and we cannot thank you enough 😘😘
