Words cannot express how beautiful the sunrise was this morning. The fog that covered the lake, the bridge, it was breathtaking. These pictures do not do this majestic view justice.
As I was gazing out into the distance this morning, praying for all those who are in a weary season. For those here in Texas that are struggling with how to make sense of the winter storm that blasted through our communities, I want to encourage you with this. “Weeping may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning,” (Psalm 30:5)
Whatever storm you are facing. Whatever thick fog may be covering your life or distorting your vision right now, remember God is going before you clearing and paving the way. I know you do not see the beauty that is blossoming through this season and trust me I know it is hard, but trust me when I say God is faithful and He promises to make beauty from our ashes. He promises to turn our graves into gardens. Our mourning into dancing and He promises to catch us as we will fall into His loving embrace of grace. I know the seasons can be intense and I know there are some of you out there that are so weary that you have lost any glimpse of light and hope but please hold onto this. God will lift the layers of fog that are encapsulating your soul. You will experience redemption, a clear vision of what is before you and you will experience an unfathomable amount of His love. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. He promises to be a safe refuge, an ever present hope in times of trouble and He promises to comfort you. He is the Prince of Peace and the Great I Am. There is nothing you are going through that He can not handle.
Lean into Him today and place all your burdens at the foot of the cross, KNOWING He will make a way. Trust in His lead. Trust that His mercies are new every morning and trust in His timing. Great is Thy Faithfulness.
Praying you all through ❤️🙏
