So many of you are walking around with a mask to cover the pain and the brokeness you are walking through. Some feel dead inside. Some feel there is no way out. Your days continue to get darker and your hope seems to be quickly dwindling away. You feel alone. You have isolated yourself, and you are in a place where you truly believe the depths are your brokenness are too big to restore. You are barely holding on by a thread and you are on your knees in desperate prayer for breakthroughs.
I know for some of you, you feel as though you have tried everything and anything you can possibly do to turn your situation around, yet you still find yourself gasping for another breath. The valley you have been barrel crawling through has left you scratched up and bruised and you have found yourself in a place where you would rather have a pity party for yourself instead of praising God with every breathe.
For those of you that are searching for a glimmer of light to guide your next steps, I want you to hold onto to this truth. We serve a BIG God. A God that meets us in our brokenness. A God that knows the most intricate parts of our life, or our heart. A God that loves us so intentionally, a God that loves us way too much to leave us where we are in our journey and a God that takes the shattered pieces of our mess to mold us back together piece by piece.
God takes what the enemy meant for evil and He turns it for good. He takes the shame, the guilt, the masks and He sheds them off making beauty from ashes. He catches all of our tears and He turns our mourning into dancing. There is nothing too big nor too small that God cannot handle. He comes alongside you with open arms and He brings you to a place of healing. I know for some of you the unknowns are scary, frightening and some are just downright gut wrenching.
But here is truth. We serve a God that restores and redeems. We serve a God that showers us with an indescribable peace as He pours down His grace. We serve a God that heals and a God that forgives. We serve a God that loves us without judgment and a God that intentionally pursues us because He wants us to walk in His all encompassing, undeniable, unwavering, and healing love.
Do whatever you need to do to grab ahold of the hem of His garment so you can experience the freedom that comes from meeting Him face to face. Because when you meet Jesus face to face and when you encounter His resurrected, healing love, your life WILL be transformed and you will never be the same. He is that faithfully good and He is that AMAZING.
Luke 8:43-48, “A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me.” When the woman realized that she could not stay hidden, she began to tremble and fell to her knees in front of him. The whole crowd heard her explain why she had touched him and that she had been immediately healed. “Daughter,” he said to her, “your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”
Zachariah 8:23, “This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’”
