Was having my quiet time this morning and wanted to dig into the depths of Gods love for me/us. I began reading Ephesians and when I got to Ephesians 1:15-19 I got stuck. Not in a bad way but God was just stirring up excitement in my soul. When I read these verses I immediately prayed, Lord oh how I desire this in my life. Shape me, mold me, open the eyes of my heart to see all that you have written out for my life. 💖
Then I read these verses in the message translation and all I can say is WOW, BLOWN AWAY.
Y’all know I have a deep heart for the broken and wounded. A heart that y’all would come to know God in profound ways and that you would come to understand and grasp how deep and wide His love is for each and everyone of you.
My life, my journey well it has not been the easiest road to travel. I have had many bumps and bruises. Days and weeks I was drowning and could not find any glimpses of light no matter how hard I tried to find it. My soul has been weak and weary, doubtful and shattered but let me tell you this, when we can allow God into the inner most part of our being, when we can allow Him to do a mighty and powerful work in and through us. When we allow Him to pour down His powerful anointed healing hands down upon our souls and allow Him to wash us with His purifying blood, we will truly be able to grasp the immensity to which He has called us and the immensity in which He absolutely LOVES and ADORES YOU.
There is redemption, the is love and there is POWER in the name of Jesus.
Call unto Him all who are weary and heavy burdened and HE will give you rest (Matthew 11:28)
Praying today you all can be still enough to absorb HIM into your hearts. Absorb Him in where you are deeply hurting and need healing, where you are broken and need the pieces of your soul to be pieced back together. Breathe Him in and allow His extravagant work to do a mighty work in you. There is nothing to big or to small for our God. Trust in Him and He will show you the way.
